Beginning this Sunday, we will be moving to an interactive livestream online experience for both the 9:15 AM adult Sunday School hour - The Case for Christ -- (hosted by Rodney & Seth) and the 10:30 Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30 AM (hosted by Pastor Marvin & Pastor Caleb). The full service will be broadcast, including worship, prayer, a kids moment for kids at home, the message, and communion. We know this is different, but we want to make things as engaging as possible. The service will be rebroadcast throughout the week. Look for a special Star Voyager kids show coming out this week too! You may want to prepare for this service by making sure your selfie camera works and you have the kahoot app loaded up in your phone!
We will also be ramping up a social media ministry team. If you wish to volunteer for that -- please email firstname.lastname@example.org or message WellingtonFirstAssembly on Facebook.
On Friday and Saturday, we will be distributing worship and kids activity packets in person and make them available for download online.
We have brainstormed other creative ways to do ministry. We will be rolling those ideas out in the next few weeks. We believe that we can continue to engage you and your family in dynamic faith formation.
Finally, this Friday at Noon, join me in an hour of prayer with our national Assemblies of God leaders.
Thank you for your continued faithfulness. I pray that the peace and freedom of Jesus, our Healer sweeps the globe. 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2020
As of now, we plan on meeting for our regular Sunday School hour at 9:15 and our Morning Worship Service at 10:30 AM.
Pastor Marvin will be preaching in a recorded video sermon, entitled "When You're Out of TP" as he was called out of state to pick up his daughter from college. The sermon video will be available on https://wellingtonfirstassembly.churchonline.org/ repeating every half hour on most of Sunday afternoon and throughout the week. It will also be available on Facebook at some point.
Again, if you or your children feel sick, please stay home and watch our services. Thank you for being faithful in you generosity. Click here to GIVE online.

Even in the utmost chaotic situations, Jesus Christ is still LORD. That is the fundamental belief of those the live in the power of the resurrection. As people of God, we live a life of both faith and responsibility. We believe in the healing power of Christ, yet we also believe in taking prudent precautions to create a safe and healthy environment for service and worship.
I (Pastor Marvin) have been in communication with the fellow pastors of our Wellington churches, as well as in contact with our denominational officials for advice and guidance. As of now current health and CDC guidelines allow for us to continue gathering together for our Sunday Morning worship service at 10:30 AM.
PLEASE WATCH FACEBOOK OR EMAILS FOR ADDITIONAL DAILY UPDATES
But we also must be responsible. If you feel sick, or feel uncomfortable coming to a public gathering, please stay home and watch the livestream. We will continue to livestream the full service to our church website (www.wellingtonassembly.com) as well as provide a recorded version available later on Facebook.
You may continue to give to our ongoing missions and ministry through our GENEROSITY button on our website. Text me (at 316-765-3145) or email email@example.com and we will pray for you.
Should your illness prevent you from going to the store to get needed items, please contact us and we do our best to arrange to pick up necessities for you.
Pandemics are not new. God has not been caught be surprise. We do not need to live in a Spirit of fear. The strength of the Christian church has been its willingness to love and serve others during times of great crisis. Let’s make that our witness too.
